Dynamic Equity invests in Label House Group

Dynamic Equity has invested $ 4.9 million in the capital of the Label House Group Limited. The shareholders agreement for this investment was signed on Monday.

Jelle Sjoerdsma, Managing Director of Dynamic Equity, said: "We are very happy to have Label House as our first investment. They are a first rate, well run and successful company that is already exporting more than half of its production. We believe they still have a lot of potential for further growth and expansion; not only in the Caribbean but also in Central and South America. We hope our participation will help them on that path."

Richard Lewis, Director of Label House Group, stated: "Getting 'Dynamic' as an equity partner was an easy choice primarily because of the integrity and composition of their shareholders, and the strengths and trustworthiness of their directors. Our Group anticipates this partnership will attract further equity participation, including the option of a future listing on the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange."

The Label House Group provides a full range of products and services for labels, signage and related equipment. They currently export to over 23 countries and have contracts with many multi-national companies operating in the region. Its subsidiaries are The Label House, Package House, Digi Signs, Visual Solutions, JED and Valu Labels. The Label House has won the Prime Minister's Exporter of the Year award, and has been honoured 9 times over the years for its "Excellence in Technical Achievement" by the Tag & Label Manufacturers Institute of America. Package House is a representative for world leading producers of labelling equipment, coders and supplies. Digi Signs, Visual Solutions and JED are quality producers of signage, billboards and electronic signs and export throughout the region. Digi Signs in 2001 won the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in the Services category.

Dynamic Equity is a local venture capital firm that currently manages $ 33 million of funds. Its emphasis is to make investments that support growth and expansion at medium-sized private companies.
