Happy New Year.  No news, but happy to be back from vacations.

November 2007

Fixed the e-mail form on our Contact Us page.  It turns out that a URL-link in that form was no longer working.  If you recently sent us a message using that form and never got a reply, that is because we would not have received your messages.  The form is working properly again now.

October 2007

Green Dot Ltd. participated in a spectrum auction last Friday and won a license for 3 blocks of 700 MHz spectrum. It also received a concession from the Telecommunications Authority of T&T.  You can read more about it in this article from the Trinidad Guardian - Online Edition.

The Bat and Ball, which is the first pub operated by The British Pub Company Ltd., opened at The Oval in Port of Spain.  You can read a newspaper review here.

July 2007

We have various updates for you.

• Victor Mouttet has replaced Len Hackshaw as our Chairman with effect from 11 July 2007. Len does remain on our Board as a regular director. Amended the page About Us accordingly.
• Since the last update we have made follow-up investments into Symsure Ltd, Green Dot Ltd, QTR Ltd. (Quiznos franchisee) and Panland Trinidad and Tobago Ltd.
• As a result our first fund is now fully invested and its investment period has ended.

We are working on our second fund as well as on another initiative to facilitate relatively smaller investments.  We will keep you posted on progress.

Apologies for delinquency in updating. Two news items we should have put up earlier. First, Quiznos opened its second restaurant in Trinidad in the Trincity Mall in February. Second, we disbursed the second and third tranches of our investment into The British Pub Company Ltd. The first pub at The Oval is scheduled to open by July.
